LIVING WITH ROBOTS

Robots are already part of our everyday lives and they will play an increasingly large part in them. This situation means that many people are thinking about the future with many mysteries and a certain degree of nervousness.

The workshop Living With Robots is based on the knowledge of the Synthetic, Perceptive, Emotive and Cognitive Systems Research Group (SPECS), led by Paul Verschure, professor of the Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA) at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC). He will tell us what the fundamental properties of future robots are, how they will be manufactured and programmed by humans and other robots, and how we will live with them. In the future, robots will be based more and more on the principles of biological intelligence and awareness, and we will all become cyborgs.

Places limited. Advance booking necessary. Each person will be able to book a maximum of 2 workshops. Duration of the activity: 25 minutes.
