HYPATIA AND MONSERRAT COLELL

“Small stories, great women” is a joint initiative by seven museums in the city to highlight the role of women in seven areas of research and creation.

The series consists of seven itinerant sessions with a format of storytelling illustrated live, one in each museum. At the Museum of Natural Sciences in Barcelona, the youngest ones will learn the story of two women closely related to science: Hypatia, a mathematician, philosopher and astronomer, and Montse Colell, a psychologist, ethologist and primatologist, who will be present at the session.
